Yoga Nidra, also known as "yoga of sleep," is a mindfulness practice that promotes deep relaxation. In this practice, you lie on your back and, guided by the instructor, enter a semi-conscious state while directing your awareness to various parts of your body and releasing tension. It is believed to enhance organ function, balance the autonomic nervous system, and provide the restorative benefits of several hours of sleep in a short period. This accessible and beginner-friendly yoga program offers a soothing and rejuvenating experience for all.
